Clara (Beth) Elizabeth Totty Dye

     Services will be on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 10:00 am at Webb Sanders and Smith Funeral  Home in Lindsay Ca for Clara (Beth) Elizabeth Totty-Dye who was born on December 27, 1938, in Maude Oklahoma to John and Christine Totty. Clara (Beth) and the family moved to Oakdale Ca, when she was four years old. At twelve years of age, her family relocated again to Lindsay Ca, where she attended Lindsay schools through eighth grade. Clara met the man of her dreams and married Max Dye on March 30, 1957. They built a life together in Strathmore Ca, where their love grew with the addition of three daughters Cheryl, Elizabeth, and Debbie. Clara worked for Strathmore High School as a  head cook and also worked as a Health provider. She was a member of the Lindsay Church of God for many years. She is survived by her daughters; Cheryl and son-in-law Marlon Washington of Lindsay, Elizabeth Knight of Porterville, and Debbie Schuler of Lindsay. She had 5 grandchildren; Michael and Christy Knight of Porterville, La Dawn and Jeff Cline of Porterville, Derrick Washington of Exeter, Brittany Shackleford of Exeter. She had 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, and her Brother Darrell and sister-in-law Sandi Totty of Visalia. Her Sister Nina and brother-in-law Emzy Cope of Goshen, and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 59 years Max Dye. Her grandson Christopher Knight, her son in law David Knight, her parents John and Christine Totty, and two brothers Bill and Ed Totty. Clara was a very Special woman, wife, mother, grandmother. She loved her family and she loved God. She will be missed by all who loved her. Till we meet again Mom. No visitation is planned.
