Silvia H. Gurrola

Visitation and a time of reflection will be held on Tuesday, June 23 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. for Silvia H. Gurrola, 79 of Lindsay who passed away June 15, 2020.

Silvia was born January 21, 1941 in Orange, California and then came to Tulare County and Lindsay as a young girl with her family where she attended local schools. She married Pete Gurrola in April of 1960 and they made their home in Lindsay as well. Silvia last worked as an inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture. She loved being with her family and cooking; she loved Disneyland and certainly Mickey Mouse. She was an avid "people watcher" and loved going to the central coast, Hawaii and visiting San Diego. And she will be remembered by her family for just wanting to get out and "go for a ride". Silvia will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Pete Gurrola of Lindsay; her daughter Cynthia David (Tim) of San Diego; her son Pedro Gurrola III (Mitzi) of Visalia; sister Dora Fernandez; brothers Ted Herrera, David Cruz and Henry Cruz; her grandchildren Nickolas, Nathaniel, Desiree, Justeen and Chelsea as well as other relatives and friends.
